I've installed Lazarus today (that's a free Delphi compiler Lewin used for his MissionEditor) and after some hours KaM Remake can be compiled in it as well!

There are few flaws of course, but they are fixable, besides following components will need to be replaced - zlib compression, jpeg screenshots and mp3player. Using compiler directives thats not a problem to maintain both versions of Remake - full Delphi6 and WIP Lazarus

Anyhow Lazarus compiled version is playable. This means that anyone can join KaM Remake without need to obtain expensive and outdated Delphi6 now

Not much of a bug report I think but I tried one of the single player missions, The Outer Colony.

You start with no wares except for 10 goldchests for additional workers. You do have a forester's hut, but no sawmill. And you have no wood in your storehouse. So you can't build anything. Is that the intention of that map? Because other than that, I liked the premise of starting with a simple "gold-mining-colony" and building it out to a flourishing city

Are you sure? Cos in existing build it seems to have enough gold to train one worker and carpenter and build a sawmill..

There is gold enough to train the workers, but there isn't any wood in the storehouse, so you can't build the sawmill without wood. Which means you can't really do anything.

Did you tried latest Demo#3 ? Cos now as I think it was fixed sometime not so long ago..

EDIT: Now I remember, Lewin did fixed it, but I forgot to put new version into the package.. Will be there in Demo #4 Thx for noticing!
